Reels

We recommend low profile reels for fishing for midsize and when work with artificial lures, and reels high profile when fishing larger fish such as trairões, cacharas, jaús and jundiás.

Rods

Both reels as reels can be used.

For hook fishes like cachorras, bicudas, pacus, peacock bass, croaker, matrinxa and jurupensé, when fishing with natural baits, we suggest slow or medium action rods with a capacity of 10 to 25lbs, and size between 5.6 ‘and 6.6’.

As for fishing with artificial lures, rods suggest with the same but quick action to facilitate working with the baits and increase the machine’s response to the actions of fish along with mouth tougher, as trairões, pacu, bicudas and cachorras.

For fish like cachara, jundiá, trairão and jaú, we suggest medium/fast action rods, with a length of 5.6 ‘to 6.6’ and capacities ranging from 30 to 70lbs.

For lovers of fishing with jigs, we suggest specific jig rods with fast/extra fast action and length between 5.6 ‘and 6.6’. The capacity (pounds) stick varies depending on the target species and types of jigs and their respective weights.
